Workshops: The Self-Control Classroom: From Disrupter
to Achiever and Proud Parents/Proud Kids
Levin/Shanken-Kaye Associates provides two workshops
tailored to the intended audience.
The Self-Control Classroom: From Disrupter to
Achiever and Proud Parents/Proud Kids strive to prevent
disruptive and delinquent behavior,
encourage accountability, achievement, integrity, and duty to others,
through a model of adult/youth interaction which emphasizes trusting,
caring and respectful relationships and the use of effective, expert
instruction. These outcomes are facilitated when students experience
successful learning environments. While The Self Control Classroom is
a workshop geared to educators and school administrators, Proud
Parents/Proud Kids presents the same principles and adapts
them to a parent's point of view.

From Disrupter to Achiever: Creating Successful
Learning Environments
for the Self-Control Classroom, both by Dr. James
